WOODLAND HILLS, CA, USA, December 1, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — 3-D Gun Art brings attention to national crisis

14 year old Charles Gitnick from Woodland Hills, CA is appearing at Spectrum in Art Basel Miami 2016 and using his unique artistic style to make a loud cry against gun violence. Visit his works on his website at www.charlesarts.com.

Charles began painting landscapes and seascapes at the age of 7. His current work, 3D presentations of replica guns mounted and treated with various techniques, inspires the viewer to consider gun violence, its impact on our children and the poignant voice they raise.

Charles uses a variety of styles and techniques to create his 3D Gun Art. His abstract paintings, created by using a spring-loaded toy air rifle and other techniques, incorporate the gun but make it either disappear into the piece or take on a new association. His art blurs the focus on the gun within it and evokes provocative thought and dialog.

Charles has reached amazing popularity in the Social Media arena and also around the world through his participation in Art Monaco 2015, Art Bogota 2015, Art Zurich 2015 and various Solo Exhibitions.

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, December 1, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — The National Career Development Conference 2017 will be held on January 23-25, 2017 in Ottawa, Canada at the Shaw Centre. This location was formerly known as the Ottawa Convention Centre. The conference is being hosted by the Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counseling.

This conference is an opportunity for experts in the field to learn about the latest trends and resources in various careers so they can help their students and employees develop and further their careers. It brings together career coaches and other employment professionals, career educators and development specialists, human resource professionals, guidance counselors and job developers for a time of interaction and learning. There is an even a special session for those attending for the first time on January 22 to help them learn about the organization and maximize their experience at the conference.

The conference will focus on a wide variety of topics which are of relevance to anyone helping provide guidance to students or those already in the workforce. One topic will be on current and future trends in careers. As The Berlitz Group has seen in its language courses, more students are learning a new language to help make them more competitive in a global workforce. As one of the current trends in careers, it's important for employers and employees to develop an awareness of the global economy. For some, it may include helping them learn to speak English so they can more easily find jobs where they live. As a representative from The Berlitz Group says, "Language is becoming more important in the business world, especially the ability to communicate in at least two languages or even more." He goes on to explain that graduates and current employees can be more competitive in any industry if they are able to speak in multiple languages because they will be able to communicate with a diverse customer base.
