Want to impress your family and friends by cooking a pizza directly on your BBQ grill?

Want to impress your family and friends by cooking a pizza directly on your BBQ grill?

As BBQ pizza becomes more and more popular, Chef Remi shows their customers how to make an authentic pizza, directly on their grill

SAN FERNANDO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, May 25, 2017 / — Here in the US, grilled pizza is more popular than ever before.

“BBQ grills provide a lot more heat than the average home oven, which mimic the actions of a professional pizza oven; getting that crust to turn into that gorgeous, blistered shape that reminds us of our a local pizzeria, getting the cheese to melt into oozing deliciousness etc.”

However, cooking a pizza directly on grates is difficult. You can’t be sure of even heat throughout the dough, and buying a pizza stone, to even out heat, is expensive.

“Which is where our BBQ grill mats come in!”

Chef Remi is 100% committed to designing genuine quality kitchen tools to support busy parents that take the time to cook for their family.

“There’s nothing like a BBQ grilled pizza, but we also know not everyone wants to spend lots of money on a pizza stone to get that authentic pizzeria taste. Which is why we’ve created a guide to making mouthwatering pizzas with just BBQ grill mats!”

• How to preheat a grill to get it at the optimal temperature for pizza dough to rise

• What to do with a charcoal grill where the heat is uneven

• Exactly how much dough you need to make a standard size pizza.”

“We want our customers to realize that you don’t need an expensive pizza stone to be able to make delicious pizza fresh from the BBQ grill.”

Chef Remi believes that families are the centerpiece of society, and communities are stronger when they sit down together, even if it’s over a quick, wholesome meal. “We believe that every child deserves a home cooked meal with a family who loves them.”

Teaching in a foreign country sounds exciting – and it is – But..

Before you respond to that ad to teach in a foreign country you will want to read Michael Durack's latest book

Michael Durack book had insight I was looking for. I had always wondered what it would be like to teach English in Asia. This book is a must read if you are thinking of teaching abroad.”

— James Klien

LONG BEACH, CA, USA, May 25, 2017 / — Before you respond to that ad to teach in a foreign country , or to travel the world and seek your fortunes abroad you will want to read Michael Durack's latest book – “Conversations With A Deaf Cat”. It is a well written book about teaching and working abroad. He chronicles his “Adventures” teaching English and working in a foreign country. He did find adventure, excitement, and it was definitely a change, but it might not be what you would expect.

Synopsys: Conversations With A Deaf Cat – (And Other Confessions of a Foreign English Teacher)
Ever wonder what it’s like to work in a foreign country, experience new foods and cultures and maybe find a way to help other people while you do it? Most people who become foreign teachers imagine going off to some exotic destination to share their knowledge with people who don’t have the same advantages as them. Sounds like an exciting and noble adventure, right?

But what happens if you take the plunge and go off to another country where you don’t even speak the language and EVERYTHING GOES WRONG? How do you deal with getting stuck doing a job you never wanted to do, dealing with deceptive employers, or not getting paid on time, if at all?

Conversations With a Deaf Cat explores the true adventures experienced by Michael Durack as a foreign English teacher and/or volunteer in China, Chile and Canada. It also chronicles his experience as an assistant caregiver along with his wife for his mother-in-law’s final months in the Netherlands. In short, it provides an insight into the highs and lows of being a foreign teacher/volunteer/caregiver in a foreign environment that is a must-read for anyone contemplating a similar career or simply interested in knowing what it’s REALLY like.

Novel-Like History Explores the Rise And Fall of the Woodstock Country School

WOODSTOCK, VERMONT, USA, May 25, 2017 / — Laurance Rockefeller was one of the early, reliable benefactors of this co-educational boarding school in Vermont, at a time when co-ed schools still seemed audacious.

Actor Larry Hagman of “Dallas” fame, best-selling authors Susan Cheever (“Drinking in America”) and Amy Wallace (“Sorcerer’s Apprentice”), as well as other future luminaries were students at the school.

Respected among educators for both its innovations and high standards, the Woodstock Country School was cherished by those who taught and were taught there, even as it struggled and finally failed to survive its 35th year.

Now the story of this noble adventure is told in fascinating detail in William Boardman’s WCS – Woodstock Country School, A History of Institutional Denial. This 505-page volume brings to light the virtues and shortcomings of the remarkable people who created the school and then tragically sealed its fate.

The Woodstock Country School rose on the wave of American energy and idealism following World War II. During its first 20 years, it was an exciting, successful, esteemed experiment in American education – one that could still be thriving now.

Founded in 1945 and closed in 1980, WCS was a co-ed boarding school that during most of its history had fewer than 100 students in grades 9 through 12. In the mid-1960s the school introduced North America’s first-ever four-semester, 12-month academic year, now widely known as the Woodstock Plan. For its first decade, the school occupied an idyllic campus in Woodstock, Vermont. After a fire destroyed the classroom building, the school purchased the sprawling former Upwey Farm in South Woodstock, where it resided for its final 25 years.

Boardman’s absorbing history reads like a novel, as dozens of characters struggle first to build the school, then to save it. Despite good intentions, their effort foundered on frailties, irresponsibilities, and a fatally imperfect understanding of what made the school so magical for so many.

"You could call it a Rorschach history," says Boardman, who attended WCS from 1952 to 1956 and taught there from 1971 to 1976, "or maybe a history collage, since there are so many voices telling the story, each from his or her own perspective, yet there is a remarkable shared perspective of an essentially ineffable institution."

WCS – Woodstock Country School, A History of Institutional Denial, from Yorkland Publishing (, tells the story of the school's rise and flourishing, even as it relied on charismatic headmaster David Bailey, whose dominance shaped the institutional denial that proved too strong to allow the school to survive.

Eva-Maria Mora of Quantum Angel Healing and Cosmic Recoding to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

The soul is our most powerful source of energy. Communicating with our angels can help us identify blockages and begin the healing process.”

— Eva-Maria Mora

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, UNITED STATES, May 25, 2017 / — You are soul and you have a body, not the other way around.

Eva-Maria Mora was your typical successful, busy executive when her life took an astonishing U-turn; doctors delivered a shocking diagnosis to her six months after the birth of her son: she only had a few weeks to live.

As she prayed for guidance and support, Mora experienced a spiritual reawakening as she was visited by an angel. She began communicating with angels regularly and gained a new perspective on why people get sick, how they can heal themselves and how they can find their life’s true purpose. This experience that propelled Mora into a new career as a world renowned clairvoyant medical intuitive and spiritual teacher.

“How can you not help other people if you know you have a gift to share, especially a gift that will help people free from pain or anything they struggle with in this earthly realm,” says Mora. “Miracles like this happen all the time. It’s so inspiring and fulfilling for me so how could I not do it.”

Today, Mora is a pioneer in New Energy Medicine as the developer of Quantum Angel Healing®. Quantum Angel Healing® can restore health and balance to your life and accelerate life transformation through connecting and communicating with angels.

“The soul is our most powerful source of energy,” says Mora. “Communicating with our angels can help us identify blockages and begin the healing process. I help people to manifest and create their own future. We can manifest all our hearts desires including good health.”

According to Mora, we are all capable through prayer, intention and awareness, of raising our frequency high enough to hear the angels, perceive their energy signals and understand them.

“The future is raising the frequency in the physical body,” says Mora. “I’ve learned how to do that so the work we’re doing is pretty cutting edge. By raising our frequency to find new solutions and healing, miracles are no longer mysteries.”

“I hope the audience is open-minded about my unusual world of energy. All I can do is open the door and invite them to something really exciting.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Eva-Maria Mora in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on May 25th at 12:30pm EDT.

Indspire Continues Youth Laureate Cross Canada Tour in Saskatoon on May 30

Josh Butcher, Fauna Kingdon, and Andrea Dykstra, along with our host, Suzette Amaya will take the stage in Saskatoon for a discussion about Indigenous education

To celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation, the Government of Canada established the Canada 150 Fund, selecting a few Canadian signature projects from thousands of applicants, to participate in celebrations across Canada and to showcase events that are unique to the selected organizations.

Indspire was selected as a unique Indigenous-led charity that focuses on supporting Indigenous education. Indspire received funding to showcase their Indspire Youth Laureates Cross Canada Tour, which will feature highly-interactive, youth-led panel discussions in seven Canadian cities – Ottawa, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Yellowknife, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal.

This month, Indspire will feature three extraordinary Youth Laureates – Fauna Kingdon (Métis, Manitoba); Josh Butcher (Métis Nation of Alberta); and Andrea Dykstra (Mi’kmaq, Pictou Landing, Nova Scotia). The panel discussion will be held on Tuesday, May 30th starting at 1PM local time in the Peter MacKinnon Building of the University of Saskatchewan.

“Our vision is to enrich Canada through Indigenous education and by inspiring achievement,” Roberta Jamieson, President and CEO, Indspire.

The tour launched at Indspire’s Soaring: Indigenous Youth Career Conference held in Ottawa on March 23, 2017 at The Westin Hotel. Following the launch, there will be one tour held on a university campus each month (except for July and August) until November 2017, with the closing celebration to follow in conjunction with Indspire’s National Gathering for Indigenous Education at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal.

In addition to funding from the Government of Canada and from Shaw Communications as Youth Laureate Sponsor, TransCanada Corporation has also partnered with Indspire to support the Tour as part of a series of initiatives they are supporting in celebration of Canada’s 150th.

“As a company who has operated in Canada for over 65 years, we are proud to give back via organizations like Indspire who share our sense of purpose around creating lasting and positive impacts in communities through education,” says Kristine Delkus, Executive Vice President, Stakeholder Relations and General Counsel. “As a long-time partner with Indspire, we feel our support of the Tour is a natural addition to our Canada 150 gift and we are very excited to play a small role in celebrating these incredible youths who have achieved so much.”

The objective of the Tour is to encourage dialog between Indspire Youth Award recipients and local Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, educators, parents and community members to reinforce the importance of education and to highlight how Indspire can help students achieve their dreams for a brighter future. Each event will start with a VIP reception for host sponsors, local government officials, school faculty, media, laureates, board members, the host and Indspire staff and will allow for interview and photo opportunities prior to the panel discussion. Panel discussions will be approximately two hours long and will include a Q&A session.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Suzette Amaya, as the laureates share motivational stories from their childhood, education, life challenges and post-graduate success. They will describe how Indspire supported them and encouraged them to dream big, to move forward and create a better life. After the discussion, a Q&A period will create a highly interactive panel session geared towards Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth.

The opening and closing sessions will be taped for broader distribution and posted on the Indspire website. Attendance is free. To reserve your seat, please visit:

This project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.

World’s Leading Liver Experts Focus on Continuing Advancements in Liver Disease and Transplantation

Dr. Michael Charlton, from the Intermountain Medical Center Transplant Program in Salt Lake City, addresses International Liver Transplant Society Conference in Prague, Czech Republic.

This meeting brings together all of the leaders from transplant programs throughout the world with the objective of improving the way we help our patients live the healthiest life possible.”

— Michael Charlton, MD, Intermountain Medical Center Transplant Program

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, May 25, 2017 / — Despite many advancements in liver transplantation — like the cure for the hepatitis C virus — liver disease continues to impact people of all ages and cultures across the globe.

As the prevalence of liver disease continues to rise across the world, the growing number of people impacted by cirrhosis, liver cancer, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, is the focus of more than 1,700 of the world’s leading liver disease experts who are meeting here in Prague, Czech Republic, this week to share innovative research that aims to identify and enhance prevention techniques and improve outcomes.

“Every year, this meeting brings together the brightest minds in liver transplantation and encourages the transition of knowledge from one country to another,” said Michael Charlton, MD, associate director of the Intermountain Medical Center Transplant Program, who is current president of the International Liver Transplantation Society. “Over the years I’ve watched this global exchange of best practice information and evidence-based medicine on how to provide the very best possible outcomes for patients. All of the research presented here has very practical applications for caregivers throughout the world.”

The 2017 International Joint Congress of the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), the European Liver and Intestine Transplant Association (ELITA), and the Liver Intensive Care Group of Europe (LICAGE) is being held May 24-27 in Prague.

One of the most anticipated elements of the meeting is the presentation of 10 of the world’s most innovative and high-impact research studies. This includes:

– Identifying patients who will do better or worse after transplant for liver cancer — and, with this knowledge, where caregivers must focus their attention in the future.

– Being able to expand the potential donor pool of organs available for liver transplantation by using newly developed tests and technologies like ex-vivo perfusion.

– Identifying patients with severe alcoholic liver disease who might be suitable for liver transplantation, but who aren’t current candidates.

– The impact of treating patients with the most severe liver disease due to hepatitis C before transplant — with a focus on preventing the need for transplants when possible while not committing others to MELD (Model for End-Stage Liver Disease) purgatory.

Research centers presenting late-breaking research include Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City; King’s College Hospital in London; University Hospital RWTH in Aachen, Germany; Anan Medical Center in Seoul, Korea; and St. James Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

“This meeting is a critically important component in the voice for research,” said hepatologist Richard Gilroy, MD, medical director of the Intermountain Medical Center Liver Transplant Program. “It brings together all of the leaders from transplant programs throughout the world with the objective of improving the way we help our patients live the healthiest life possible.”

This year’s conference will be the largest in history and includes doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, surgeons, infectious disease physicians, radiologists, and several other subspecialties from more than 80 countries who treat liver disease in all its facets.

Intermountain Medical Center (@Intermtnmedctr) and other attendees and organizations will be sharing the latest research from the conference on Twitter using the hashtag #ILTS2017.
